Vancouver’s first mass timber hotel and the tallest mass timber hotel in North America, now approved for rezoning.
Sited in a prime tourist location next to Granville Island, this hotel will be among the first in an exciting new future for the Burrard Slopes. Granville Island hosts 10.5 million annual visitors and provides access to tourist destinations, rich amenities and nature for hotel guests.
The site is closely connected to Downtown Vancouver and nearby transit networks, offering a convenient stay along with beautiful views of the city.
Sustainable Construction
The modern, design-forward project is proposed to be built as a mass-timber hybrid hotel, anticipated to be the tallest hotel of its kind built in North America. Sustainable, innovative construction helps minimize the building’s embodied carbon footprint. The design allows lower operating costs throughout the hotel’s lifetime, all while delivering a high-quality architectural experience.
Several design innovations to increase liveability and support affordable family living have been incorporated into the project, including dramatic rooftop indoor and outdoor amenity spaces. The proposal also accommodates a full-service veterinary clinic on multiple levels, including surgical, diagnostic and dentistry units.

The project offers a unique boutique hospitality experience at an attractive price point. Guests are offered clean, modern hotel suites and dedicated amenity spaces, inspired by Vancouver’s forested coastal environment.
